I feel sorry for the victims referred in this video clip. But I have to clarify some points for the accuracy; 1) Baby The scene of the soldier throwing baby is not what Mr. Kondo witnessed, nor he is sure this is exactly happened. He exceprted this scene from the novel written after the war by other unit's soldier, who later bacame novelists (Yasujiro Tamura). And Mr. Kondo only mentioned that we had similar cases to let women come with them away from their home (kidnap). 2) Rape As he explained like "After being raped, the victim is usually killed to leave no evidence", yes they had to, because rape was a war crime back then in Japanese Army,too. If it turned out, they would have been punished and might have been jailed by the Army Court, which were real shame for Japanes...
